He was predeceased by: his brothers, Gary and Lyle Sylling; and his parents, Norman Sylling and Hazel Sylling (Gorman). He is survived by: his wife Trudy (Dekker); his sister Wanda (Fergus); his son Eric (Maisy); his grandchildren, Audrey, Maggie and Alex; his daughter Pamela (Craig); and his grandchildren, Hunter (Mikayla) and Carter (Emma).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (528 S 8th St, Sunnyside, WA 98944). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Community Church (300 W Centennial Dr, Zillah, WA 98953). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Zillah Cemetery (100 1st Ave, Zillah, WA 98953).
