He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Sr. Ball and Florence Ball; his son Arthur Ball; his brothers, Roland Jr. Ball (Millie) and Irv Ball (Opal); and his in-laws, Carl and Luretta Clevenger.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his brother Richard Ball (Deloris); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Jay Clevenger (Ruth) and Janet Coykendall (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
