He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sazama and Ida Sazama (Schilling); his wife Pat; his grandson Trent Geiger; and his siblings, Sylvester "Pete" Sazama, James "Bud" Sazama and Marie Umnus.
He is survived by: his children, Darnell Sazama (Doreen) of Athens, Darrell Sazama (Lori) of Stratford, Darla Viegut (Mark) of Colby and Dorine Geiger (Mike) of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Eric Sazama (Jess), Sara Yessa (Craig), Katelyn Martyn (Ben), Michael Sazama (Terese), Riley Kilty, Keenen Kilty, Brooke Peoples (Frank), Tyler Viegut (Kaylee), KyLeon Viegut, Brenna Walters (Jordan), Parker Geiger (Riley) and Pierce Geiger; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Maly (Leonard) of Mosinee, Gerald McHugh (Sue) of Stratford and Richard McHugh (Patty). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
