He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorence Scheelk and Dorothy Scheelk (Doering); his siblings, Laverne, Delores, Audrey, Betty, Patricia, Gayle, Dennis and Henry; his sister-in-law Karen; and his parents-in-law, Verna and Arnie.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Cynthia, Victoria (Greg), Debra (Shannon) and Jennifer (Tim); his grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher (Sydney), Nicole (Killian), Katie (John) and Cassie (Chris); his siblings, Arlene, Larry and Richard; and his brothers-in-law, Dave (Nancy), Doug (Rose) and John (Marlene).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home (203 N 4th St, Abbotsford, WI 54405). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Robert's wish is to have donations made: American Legion Post 73, 6 Boon Boulevard, Neillsville, WI 54456.
