He is survived by: his wife Christine Schmidt; his son James Schmidt (Malorie); his grandson Edison; his siblings, Claudia Klipp (Jim) and Dave Schmidt (Cindy); his siblings' children, Paul, Scott Klipp, James and Kristen Schmidt; and his friends, Patrick, Judy Steinbrecher, John Szostak, Bob and Virginia Major.
Interment private, In lieu of flowers, donations to Tunnel to Towers or DAV would be appreciated.
