He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bathke and Ruby Bathke (Meverden); his son Robert; his siblings, John, Robert and Joyce; and his brother-in-law Ken Haack.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Finnerty; his son David Bathke (Tina Webb); and his sisters, Shirley Haack, Cheryl Rankin (Mark) and Grace Keach (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schinderle Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1600 Schinderle Ln, Algoma, WI 54201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
