We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2023, at the age of 82, Jane Wienke of Algoma, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Elden Nelson and Edith Nelson (Stuebs); her husband Don Frederic Wienke; her parents-in-law, Fred and Ruth Wienke; her brother Eric Nelson; her sister-in-law Joanne Cocking; and her nephew Carl Nelson.
She is survived by : her children, Hans (Kaye Wienke), Sigrid (David Slaby), Tollef (Sheila Wienke) and Marit (Jim Virgin); her grandsons, Ian and Aidan Wienke; her children, Sam Slaby (Lindsey Brehmer), Nate Slaby (Lyanne), Ella, Sanya, Paula, Shambo, Tre, Zone, Daniel, Kemal, Maria, Jhonatan Wienke, Wolfgang, Greta and Sven Virgin; her great grandchild Declan Slaby; her sister-in-law Theresa Nelson; her brothers, Roger (Mary Nelson), Lyle (Monica Nelson) and Alfred "Fritz" (Joyce Nelson); her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Cocking of Prophetstown, IL, Jon and Gail Wienke of Sturgeon Bay, WI; and her aunt Fama Baxstrom (Curt) of Sequim, WA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
