She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Dier and Jeanette Dier; her grandson Elden Steinhoff; her in-laws, Eldon and Edith Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Beverly (Jane), Wienke (Don), Gene Nelson (Eric) and Gary Krzysiak; and her niece Heidi Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Nelson; her children, Christine Blohowiak (Jerry), Jennifer Blohowiak (Mark Carrick) and Eric Nelson; her grandchildren, Sadie Blohowiak (Erik Oertel), Lillian Nelson, Caleb Blohowiak and Carson Blohowiak; her siblings, Laura Krzysiak, Kristine Dauenhauer (Dan), Peggy Dier, Thomas Dier (Laurie), Jacqueline Toepfer (Kurt Bullard), Jeffrey Dier (Alana) and Michelle Bastien (Daniel); and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Nelson (Monica), Alfred Nelson (Joyce) and Theresa Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in her honor for EAS Foundation or Unity Hospice.
