He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Leona Schneider (Haucke) of Algoma, WI. He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Jorgenson) of Sturgeon Bay; his children, Lori Schulz (Jon), Amy Karas (Mike), David Schneider (Teri) and Anne Adickes (Phil); his grandchildren, Isaac Schulz (Tha), Caroline Schulz, Pierre Schulz (CJ), Wedmerline Schulz, Ben Karas (Mandy), Kristin Helmer (Eric), Ethan Schneider (Morgan), Adam Schneider (Calleigh), Abby Schneider (Lane), Leah Adickes (Jacob), Levi Adickes (Carlee) and Grace Adickes (Cole); his great grandchildren, Dorothea Schulz and Gavin Schneider; his sisters, Jane Schneider, Ellen Reinhart and Margaret Kostichka (Chuck); his siblings-in-law, Lois and Darrell Jeremiassen; his in-laws, Elden and Lauretta Jorgenson; his siblings-in-law, Jeannine Toppe-Eggert, Kristin Konrad, Paul Toppe, Paul Eggert and Don Reinhart; and his grandsons, Jackson Schulz and Simeon Adickes. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, and numerous friends.

Memorials may be given to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Green Bay, St. John's Lutheran Church in Whitewater where his grandson is the Pastor, or The Meng Residence in DePere.

“Dick Schneider was a blessed man and a blessing to all he came into contact with. Our paths crossed a number of times over the past 50 years --from Algoma to Green Bay. Possessing the gifts of sound Christian judgment and leadership, he faithfully served in congregations in Green Bay. I know that I am not alone in saying that it was a privilege to have known and spent time with Dick. The Church has lost an exemplary layman.
