He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Haukoos and Selma Haukoos; and his sisters, Donna and Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Chris of Buffalo City, WI and Timothy (Nimfa) of Pensacola, FL; his granddaughter Maria of Port Hueneme, CA; and his sister Karen Holtz of Kiester, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
