He is survived by: his wife Dianne McDonald; his children, Holly Holmen (Troy) of Osseo, Sheila Frendel (Brad) of Eau Claire and Ryan Thompson of Menomonie; his grandchildren, Mike Lantz (Taina Stenson), Kaitlyn Lantz, Kayla, Wyatt Holmen, Brady, Tessa and Landon Thompson; his great grandchildren, Marshall Laumann, Emma Lantz, Honey and Charlie Frendel; his sister Barbara Vestal; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Grainger and Robert McDonald (Vivian).
