He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Swanson and Helen Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Frisle; his children, Nick Swanson (Nick) and Missy Knutson (Eric); his grandchildren, Noah, Austin, Alex, Bella, Gavin, Cale and Clay; his brother Allen; his sister-in-law Cindi Bloomquist (Jim); and his nephew Derek Rockow (Catherine).
