He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hempleman and Lillian Hempleman (Hagen); his wife Donna Mae Karshbaum; his son Jason; his parents-in-law, John and Edna Karshbaum; his sisters, Jean, Carol and Nancy; and his brothers-in-law, Bob, Don and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Hanson (Rick), Gary, Brian (Sarah), James (Diana) and Lisa Payton (Nathan); his daughter-in-law Carrie; his grandchildren, Douglas, Linsie (TJ), Bradley (Morgan), Amanda (TJ), Melanie, Aiden, Laura, Violet, Ernie, Alex, McKenzie (Nick), Lance, Saharra, Damian (Katelyn), Olivia and Addison; his great grandchildren, Justus, Ansley, Kase, Brecken, Lincoln, Lynnlee and Ember; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Karshbaum and Richard Oldenburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
