Gail A. Kovar Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail A. Kovar of Altoona, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 27, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Gail has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Ness and Roger Ness. She is survived by: her grandsons, Collin and Drew; her husband Mark; and her children, Kacie Kovar (Jonathan P.), Ben Kovar (Amanda) and Lindsey Canny (James). She is also survived by her two grandsons; two sisters; and one brother.

Gifts honoring Gail may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
