He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Ridge and Mildred Ridge (Mills); and his niece Ruth Ann Watson. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Gaedtke; his daughter Holliday Ridge; his granddaughter Lydia Jones; his nephews, Scott Hartwig (Carol), Paul Hartwig (Sterling), Chris Hartwig (Lisa), Dan Hartwig and Tim Hartwig; and his niece Carol Erickson.
