With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Loughan (Altoona, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmett Loughan and Evelyn Loughan (Gleason). He is survived by : his wife Sue Loughan (Anderson); his children, Angela Kunkel (Scott) and Anthony Loughan; his grandchildren, Austin Loughan-Hays and Krystal Brown (Cody); his great grandchild Juniper Brown; and his siblings, Raymond Loughan (Caryll) and Corinne Snyder (David). He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in law; nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chippewa Valley Cremation Services (1717 Devney Dr, Altoona, WI 54720). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
