He is survived by : his wife Lois Olson; his children, Pamela Nelson (Joseph) of Eau Claire, WI, Angela Bechel (Brad) of Afton, MN, Rhonda Lorentz (Craig) of Manito, IL and Mitchell Olson (Rae) of Lakeville, MN.; his grandchildren, Bill Venzke (Angie) of Stillwater, MN, Michelle Thomassen (Sander) of Peachtree City, GA, Benjamin Nelson (Mary) of Mondovi, WI, Casey Bechel of Stillwater, MN, Courtney Ronsberg (Seth) of Hudson, WI, Cody Bechel (Lisa) of Hastings, MN, Chelsey Bechel of Zimmerman, MN, Austin Lorentz (Erin) of East Peoria, IL, Winston Lorentz (Calli) of Pekin, IL, Marina Olson of Tampa, FL, Drake Olson of State College, PA, Georgia, Ameila, Ella, Melanie Venzke, Adrian, Corbin Thomassen, Daniel Nelson, Paisley, Kynlee and Bowen Bechel; his sister Rene Spring (Donald); his sisters-in-law, Judy Olson, Rachel Olson, June Deutscher, Ruth Halverson and Arlene Creviston (Tom); his sisters, Nannette Miske (Sonny) and Darliene Gumsrud (Larry); and his brothers-in-law, Clayton Halverson, Berval Deutscher and David Winter.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 2:40 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
