He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Larson; his son Ronald Larson Jr.; and his siblings, Joanne Babcock, Larry Larson and Glen Larson.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Ann; his daughters, Diana Garthwait (Clark) and Brenda Schneider (Brian); his sister Anna Mae "Mae" Maas (Wayne); his grandchildren, Jennifer Baumgartner (Jeremy), Raymond Schneider, Paul Garthwait and Amy Schneider (Carl); and his great grandchildren, Brianna Baumgartner, Mackenzie Schneider and Evelynn Schneider. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chippewa Valley Cremation Services (1717 Devney Dr, Altoona, WI 54720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
