He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Backhaus (Hilsabeck); his children, Jeffrey Backhaus (Judy), Randall Backhaus and Debra Neuburg (Joe); and his grandchildren, Raegan, Eddie, Amanda, Alaina, Kendra and Kaila. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
