With sadness, we share the passing of Cheryl Jean Sobottka (Amery, Wisconsin). Cheryl, born on December 30, 1960, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Bill George; and her father-in-law David Sobottka. She is survived by: her parents, Josephine George and Norman George; her husband Christopher Alan Sobottka; her sisters, Nancy, LuAnn, Jolene and Kathy; her mother-in-law Nancy Sobottka; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanne and David Sobottka. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out to InterFaith Caregivers of Polk County, who connect adults and seniors with disabilities like Cheryl to support their independence and quality of life.
