He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Fowler; his parents, Howard Fowler and Lavina Fowler (Church); his brothers, Gerald Fowler and John Fowler; his sisters-in-law, Donna Fowler and Sue Fowler; and his siblings' children, David Fowler and Michelle Magnuson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Du Bois, Tracie Will, Brenda Gullickson and Denise Hansen (Greg); his brother George Fowler; and his grandchildren, Matthew Du Bois, Brittni Fowler, April Will (Jake Goergen), Kayla Gullickson, Jordan Will, Megan Du Bois, Isaac, Holly and Nick Hansen. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
