He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Sayles; his daughter Karen Backes (Dani); his grandchildren, Adrianna Backes (Richard Jackson), Lexi, Shane and Ella Backes; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Keegan Johnson and Carter Jackson; and his sister Vicki Littlefield.
