He is survived by: his wife Muriel Spierings; his children, Christopher Spierings (Dawn) and Kelly Aspen (Bryan); his grandchildren, Riley Aster (Elise), Mitchell Spierings, Aubrey Redwood (Ossian), Kathryn Spierings, Arin Spierings and Timothy Spierings; his stepchildren, Suzanne Romsa (Kerry), Valerie McDowell, David McDowell and Patricia Sjogren (Kris); his stepgrandchildren, Kayley McDowell and McKenzie Sjogren; and his sisters, Judy Helf (Thomas), Susan Christensen (Albert) and Karen Spierings.
