He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Steffen and Ruth Wetzel; his wife Rose Marie Steffen (Williams); and his stepson Steven Schiltz. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Pochinski (Rickey) of New London; his stepson Michael Schiltz (Robin); and his grandchildren, Austin, Hayden, Brendyn, Keannah, Akasha and Harlow.
