She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gaulke and Hilda Gaulke (Kieckhaefer); her husband Ralph Hempfer of John's Lutheran Church; her daughter Renee Nute; her son-in-law David Zingg; and her siblings, Elizabeth Grienke, Wallace Gaulke and Ralph Gaulke.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Hempfer and Merry Zingg; and her son-in-law Matt Nute. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home - Birnamwood (445 Main St, Birnamwood, WI 54414). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
