He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barta and Dorothy Barta (Petroskey); his brother Gary Barta; his father-in-law William Falk; and his brother-in-law William Falk, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Falk; his children, Amy Brisby (Marvin) of Antigo, Michael Molitor (May) of Greenville and Cady Molitor of Tomahawk; his siblings, Jane Wolf (Joe) and Paul Barta of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Kiana, Devon, Marvin Jr., Malik, Sade, Tommy, Sebastian, Kairi and Cierra; his great grandchildren, Kinsley and Kaiser; and his mother-in-law Shirley Falk of Birnamwood.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Polar, WI 54418). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
