Eugene Houdek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Houdek of Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Houdek and Ella Houdek (Johanek); his wife Eunice; and his siblings, Evelyn Schmoll, Elaine Walters and Robert Houdek.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Antoniewicz (Keith) of Hortonville, Joanne Degner (Randy King) of Antigo, Gary Houdek (Faith), Larry Houdek (Darcie) of Deerbrook and Daniel Houdek (Cindy) of Antigo; his grandchildren, Stephanie Kling (Paul), Amanda Hoechst (Dan), Paula Servin, Michael Musolff (Mindy Reyes), Megan Williams (Wes), Lindsey Houdek (Jesse), Brandon Houdek (Nicole), Molly Houdek, Nicholas Houdek and Matthew Houdek; his great grandchildren, Norah, Anna Kling, Brady, Finley Hoechst, Abigail, Justin Servin, Alyson Buntrock (Brandon), Mikah Musolff, Liam, Cole, Dahlia Williams, Bode, Goldie and Poppie Houdek; his great great grandchildren, Boston, Kaslyn, Revin and Ellie Jo Buntrock; and his sisters, Dorothy Mach of Little Chute, Shirley Drexler of Wautoma and Arleen Plzak of Antigo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Lions Club of Antigo, volunteering time at the Rosholt Lions Camp, delivering donated eyeglasses that serve optical missions around the world.
