It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Barta-Orlet of Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Nancy Barta (Nehls); and her sons, Tony Evans and Frank Lafayette. She is survived by: her father Eugene Barta of Antigo; her husband Michael Orlet; her son Robert Orlet (Ivy) of Antigo; her grandson Ethan Orlet; her siblings, Cheryl Keen of Antigo, William Barta (Jamie) and Matthew of Surprise, AZ; her brother-in-law Raymond Orlet of Antigo; and her siblings' children, Nanette Griese (Daniel), Chole Barta, Jack Barta, Matthew and Robert Kuri. She is also survived by close friends, Doctors Noel and Lakshmi Deep, whose children Nikki and Nathan called Kathryn Grandma.
