He is survived by : his wife Helen Merchant (Hitz); his children, Pam Legro (Dave), Teresa Zdrazil (Neal Skidmore), Kim Buss (Mike), Jamie Merchant (Nicole) and Shane Merchant (Fatima); his grandchildren, Kristin Grant (Terrance), Samantha MacDonald, Cody MacDonald (Samantha), Travis Hoerman (Becky), Mellissa Gilbert (Craig), Tyler Legro (Kelsey), James Merchant, Cheyenne Merchant, Kalib Merchant, Noah Merchant, Lillianne Merchant and Natalia Merchant; his siblings, John Zdrazil (Rose), Tom Zdrazil (Marlys), Pat Rose and Mary Jo Zdrazil; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Carl, John Hitz (Joyce), Brad Hitz (Chris), Mike Hitz, Herb Hitz (Sue), Tom Hitz, Bill Hitz, Jim Hitz (Theresa), Diane Schroepfer, Pam Obst (Greg), Laurie Panzer (Carver) and Cheri Bloemer (John). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
