She was predeceased by : her parents, William Vassau and Marion Vassau (Culbertson); her husband William Hunter; her children, Mary Claire McLaughlin and Billy Hunter; her sisters, Margaret LaCourse (Robert) and Bobbie Conlin; and her stepsiblings, Lois Goeman (George), Janet Heckman (William), Carol Donahue (Eugene), Larry Moss and Richard Moss.

She is survived by : her children, Terri Tourtillott (Tom) of Wausau, Sherri Hunter of Antigo and Jerry Hunter of Antigo; her grandchildren, Katie Guay (Kevin) of Kittery, Kelly Wilkening (Mark) of Chicago, Erin Pedrique (Freddy), Bridget Corcoran (Tim) of Woodbury, Minn, Patty Marten of Fall Creek, Chris Sell (Jen) of River Falls, Jon Sell of Eau Claire and William Tourtillott of Wausau; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Tori Marten, Ryan, Eli Sell, Jack, Madeline, Caroline Guay, Ruby, Beulah Wilkening, Layla, Marley and Taylor Pedrique; her son-in-law Daniel McLaughlin (Sharon); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Hunter of Oconomowoc, Tom Conlin of Fond du Lac and Jim Hunter of Oconomowoc. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and "adopted" children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Antigo Community Food Pantry and St. John Catholic Church.
