He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wolter and Hilda Wolter (Servi Wild); his siblings, Carole Bennetts (Jack), Mary Jane Paff, Conrad Wild (Marianne), Norman Wild (Pat), Rosemary Schroepfer (Norbert), Ruth Greisinger, Pat Lichtenberg, Bev Summ and Glen Wolter; his in-laws, Al Wojtasiak, Mary "Kitty" Schumitsch and Karen Knuth; his nieces, Laurel Wirth, Theresa Bolen, Cris Knapp and Dawn Wojtasiak; Ben and Berniece Schumitsch.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne "Bobo" Schumitsch; his grandchildren, Natalie, Bridget, Logan, Alexis, Peyton, Paxton, Blaire, Walter and Teddi; his siblings, Caroline Wild (Tom), Linda Scott (John) and John Wolter (Debbie); his siblings-in-law, Jean Wolter, Nancy Wojtasiak, Jerry Greisinger, Leon Summ, Dennis Lichtenberg, Dick Schumitsch (Helen) and Larry "Buster" Knuth; and his siblings' children, Norm Wild (Terri) and Michele Nagel (Dave). He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A wake will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home (1550 Neva Rd, Antigo, WI 54409). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (415 6th Ave, Antigo, WI 54409).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate blood, give to St. Jude for childhood cancer research, the Ronald McDonald House, or the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison.
