Mildred Strobel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Strobel (Antigo, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Knapek and Anna Knapek (Marko); her former life partner Dellmar Strobel; her son Robert; her grandson Nathan Strobel; and her siblings, Betty Weisshahn, Anna Roth, John Knapek (Jean) and Frank Knapek (Donna).

She is survived by : her sons, James Strobel (Karen) and Thomas Strobel (Carleen); her daughter-in-law Cathy Strobel of Antigo; her grandchildren, Steven, Scott, Gregory, Danielle, Casey, Jeffrey, Michael, Jason and Kendall; and her sister-in-law Angie Knapek. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Carleen Strobel wrote a sympathy message

“Millie was the Matriarch of our family. Caring Mother and Grandmother. We will miss her sense of humor and her point of view. She let us know what she thought. I am sure her three Strobel men were waiting to greet her when she passed. Rest in peace Millie, you earned it. Love, Tom and caleen and family.”
