He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Cerny and Sally Cerny (Witt). He is survived by: his wife Mary Moretti; his children, Dawn Howard (Bill) of Birch Bay, Joe Cerny of Pacific, WA, Luke Cerny (Emily) of Grafton and Greg Gervais (Mary) of Fairfax, VA; his grandchildren, Shelby Howard, Jacob, Jude, Ava Cerny, Christina and Annabelle Gervais; and his sister Joyce Denker of Peru, IL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Homestead Church (710 Center St, Antigo, WI 54409). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Homestead Church to the building fund or Hope Life Center, Wausau.
