He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigfred Sylfest and Anna Sylfest (Saufley); his grandson Josh Sylfest; and his brother Sammy Sylfest. He is survived by: his wife Leila Emken; his sons, Mike Sylfest (Sandy) of Appleton and Bruce Sylfest (Tammy Whitt-Sylfest) of Elton; his grandchildren, Jamie Sylfest (Jessica), Jesse Sylfest (Thambose) and Suzi Elst; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Xavier, Rowan and Samantha; and his sisters, Sylvia, Paulson, LaNoma Nannenga and Judith Meyer (Mark).
