He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hoffmeister and Myrtle Hoffmeister (Neigenfind); his wife Carol Marvin of Mary's Catholic Church; his great grandchild Madyson Kielcheski; his siblings, Walter Hoffmeister, Donna Saunders and Barbara DeBroux (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Marion Hoffmeister.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Kryka (Duane) of Antigo, Debbie Hoffmeister of Antigo and Daniel Hoffmeister (Laura) of Antigo; his close friend Jane Dacey of Antigo; his grandchildren, David Kielcheski (Judy), Tim Kielcheski (Stacey), Jesse Hoffmeister (Michael), Joe Hoffmeister (Savannah), Kimberly Spurgeon (Joel Hebola), Katalin Hamauer (Kirk) and Christopher Spurgeon (Emma Hess); his great grandchildren, Mason, Nolan, Aiden Kielcheski, Reegan, Saige, Scarlet, Sloan, Victor Hoffmeister and Maribelle Jean Spurgeon; and his brother Clifford Hoffmeister of Antigo.
