He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Deede and Ruth Irene Lawrence (Ramsdal); his wife Marianne Wolosyn; his son Bryon Deede; and his brothers, John Deede and Bob Deede.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy Deede (Penny) of Antigo, Virginia Lambrecht (Mike) of Sayner and Ruth Rettinger (Dan) of Antigo; his sisters, Ardis Schreiber (Ike) and Joann LaRock; his sister-in-law Claudia Deede; and his friend Arlene Schuh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Richard's name will be established.
