He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dahms and Cecelia Dahms (Krueger); his stepfather Art Stefan; his parents-in-law, Gerry and Thelma Vandehey; his siblings, Leonard, Dale Dahms and Lois Pfaff; his siblings-in-law, Julius Pfaff, Mike Fay, Bill Vandehey, Don Smith, Tom Schroepfer, Dick Hendricks, Nancy and Maggie Dahms; and his nephew Richard Pfaff.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ebert (Vandehey); his children, Bobbie Bastle (Dan) of Pickerel, Rebecca Tatro (Tracy) of Antigo, Benjamin Dahms (Amy) of Eau Claire and Bridget Dahms of Antigo; his stepchildren, Jessica Justman (Mark Haney) of Richmond Hill, GA and Chaz Ebert (Lauren) of Bogart, GA; his grandchildren, Robert Bastle (Alyssa Van Ess) of Weston, Emily Bastle (Dylan Sharkey) of Antigo, Luke Bastle (Emma Beck) of Pickerel, Brady Tatro (Travis Pluim) of Stoughton, Avery Tatro of Antigo, Sophia Dahms of Eau Claire, Theresa Dahms of Eau Claire, William Taylor (Amya Seidler) of Antigo, Karter Taylor of Antigo, Leland Paffrath of Monico, Dax Justman of Richmond Hill, GA, Anna Ebert of Bogart, GA and Ella Ebert of Bogart, GA; his stepgrandchildren, Mckenzie Nonnenmacher (Troy) of Antigo, Nicalus Tatro (Katie Godding) of Stoughton and Jacob Tatro (Kim) of Twentynine Palms, CA; his great grandchildren, West and Takoda Taylor; his sisters, Mary Fay of Menomonee Falls and Virginia Wierman (Robert) of Chippewa Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Schroepfer, Shirley Smith, Vicki Hendricks, Mary Vandehey and Jerry Mike Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A wake will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (N9155 WI-55, Pickerel, WI 54465).
