He is survived by: his sister Dianne Kaye Hansen; his wife Denise Hale Hansen (Fleischman); his sons, Zachary Hansen (Ashley) of Wauwatosa, WI and Joshua Hansen of Franklin, WI.; his sister Dianne Fritsch (Randy) of Antigo, WI; his granddaughter Bethany; his stepchildren, Josh Hale (Morgan Holt), Seth Hale of Milwaukee, WI and Emma Hale (Hunter Frahm) of Wausau, WI.; his father-in-law Ken Fleischman (Mae Prince); his pet Nitschke; Cathy Wild (Rob), Rick Fleischman (Sheri), Mikki Fronek (Kevin) and Julie Schofield.

Rodger was deeply invested in the Make-A-Wish Foundation and still has his first "kid's" picture on the visor in his truck.
