It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne A. Schroepfer of Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schroepfer and Doris Schroepfer (Flint); his brothers, Bill Schroepfer, Joe Schroepfer and Stanley Schroepfer; and his brother-in-law Lee Horne.
He is survived by: his children, Tracey Sigmund (Rich) of Dorchester, WI, Jason Schroepfer of Madison, Hope Hill of Wausau, Faith Barnett (Corey) of Lonoke, AR and Charity Clayton (Shane Everest) of Harrisburg, AR; his siblings, Lorri Horne of New London, Linda Heinzen (Ken) of Wausau and Andy Schroepfer of Antigo; and his sister-in-law Lynda Schroepfer of Wausau. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
