It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Douglas Barten of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barten and Alice Barten (Lewin). He is survived by: his wife Therese; his children, Nicole, Amber, Adam (Melissa), Brittany and Brock (Xeng); his grandchildren, Ani, Abel, Arianna, Charlie, Aiden, Liliana, Milla, Brody and Shay; his brother John (Missi); and his nieces and nephews, Ryan (Shannon), Matt and Emily (Tony). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, and many friends.
