It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex J. Brautigam of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Sean Brautigam and Becky Brautigam (Hoida) of Appleton; his siblings, Zachary and Leah; his grandparents, Fred, Barb Hoida, Steve and Marsha Brautigam; his aunts and uncles, Nathan Hoida (Amy), Alison Melchert (Nick), Nick Brautigam (Jenny) and Allie Monfort (Nate); his pet Max; and his great-grandparent Marian Hoida.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used to help defray funeral expenses.
