With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alton C. Thompson (Appleton, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Genevieve Thompson (Hasselquist) and Marvin Clifford Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Thompson (Jones); his children, Andrew C. Thompson (Jennifer K.), Rebecca L. T. Cho (Sunmin Cho) of Wayland and Sarah N. Thompson of West Allis; his grandchildren, Julia Thompson, Michael Thompson of Kimberly, Evelyn Cho, Karina Cho and Sean Cho of Wayland, MA.; and his siblings, Greta Aberg, Marlo Thompson, Lynn Thompson and Philip Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
