He was predeceased by: his father Walter Tews; his wife Eileen Nennig; his mother Clara Tews (Drews); his parents-in-law, Zeno and Rose Nennig; his brother Orwald; his sister-in-law Irma Tews; his sisters, Arline and Loretta Tews; his brother-in-law Burnell Nemmitz; his brothers, Jerome, Lyle (Joanne), Allen (Mildred) and Jake Nennig; and his pets, Boo and Sally.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Beringer, Richard (Wendy) and Scott Tews (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Ben (Kelsey) and Brittany Tews.
