It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara N. Russell-Mendyke (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Nelson and Margaret Nelson; her former husband Sherwood Russell; her children, Greg Russell (Betsy), Jane Van Arendonk (Craig) and Kay Allen (James); her grandchildren, Hannah Russell, Andy Russell (Gizem), Sarah Van Arendonk, Nathan Van Arendonk, Erin Allen and Christian Allen; and her great grandchildren, Dennis Russell, Celine Russell and Felix Van Arendonk.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Mendyke; her stepchildren, Donna Mendyke, Daniel Mendyke (Shouley) and Michael Mendyke (Laura); and her stepgrandchildren, Darwin Mendyke, Emily Mendyke and Megan Mendyke.
