He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry William Ruh and Dorothy Ruth Ruh (Sucher); and his siblings, Robert Ruh (Dorothy), Warren Ruh (Sylvia), Lorraine Sams (Jack), Fred Ruh, Patricia Choelowinski and Deanna Schaetz (Ralph).
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ruh (Champeny); his children, Sarah Palmer (Shawn) and Adam Ruh (Rebecca); his grandsons, Alec Palmer (Allie), Daniel Ruh and Ross Palmer; and his friend Arthur Frank (Chopper). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ben's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Concern for Creation Committee.
