He was predeceased by: his father Brian Laux; his grandfather Wayne Bouchard Sr. Along; and his pet Satori. He is survived by: his mother Tammy Bouchard (Ed Roush); his brothers, Brett Laux and Nathan Lancour; and his stepfather Tony Lancour.

In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established to assist Brandon's mother with funeral expenses.
