She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Nussbicker and Hallie Nussbicker (DeWolf); her brother Harrison; her aunts, Pauline DeWolf (Poppy) and Edith Price (Dee Dee); her stepmother Dorothy Nussbicker; her great grandchildren, Taylor Sullivan and Jude Weems; her former husband Gilbert Nabbefeld; and her sister Marge Koepke.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Nabbefeld (Doug DeMers), Katie Beroukhim, Sandy Sullivan (Jim), Joe Nabbefeld, Ben Nabbefeld (Anna Marie) and Mary Dingeldein (Sean); her great grandchildren, Tanya Embers (John), Erich Dingeldein (Amanda), Alex Dingeldein, Max Nabbefeld (Kamilia), Kira (Nik Godsey), Hannah (Chris Lorfeld) and Rachel Sullivan; and also, Arlo, August, Francis, Freya and Lou.
In lieu of flowers, Carrie would love if a donation were made in her name to Planned Parenthood, Habitat for Humanity or the Alzheimer Association.
