It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Caryl Miers of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Caryl may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Caryl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Boom and Avis Vanden Boom (Hawley); her sister Elaine Jawson; her brother-in-law Bruce Jawson (Robert Miers); and her close friend Roger Hanus.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Brewer (Paul) and Scott Miers (Jennifer); her granddaughter Kyra Eaton; her niece Cathy Detherow (Gary); her nephew Jim Jawson; and also Jeff Eaton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tri-County Chapel (1592 S Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
