He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Ritchie and Virginia Ritchie (Devine); his parents-in-law, Francis "Stack" Heesakker and Shirley Heesakker (Kessler); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Heesakker and Patricia Heesakker; his uncle Thomas Devine (Verity); and his nephew George Devine Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Philip Ritchie (Kristen) of Poway, CA and Adam Ritchie of Savannah, GA; his wife Susan Heesakker; his grandchildren, Ava and Lincoln Ritchie; his siblings, Susan Dillenbeck (James), Beth Anderholm (Eric), Rex Ritchie (Vicki) and Matthew Ritchie (Sandi); his uncle George Devine (Lola); and his siblings-in-law, Peter Heesakker, Michael Heesakker (Mary), Mary Kearney (James) and Laurie Heesakker. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established and distributed in Dan's name to benefit his favorite charitable organizations.
