She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hackstock and Theresa Hackstock; her husband Dennis Giles; and her brother David Hackstock. She is survived by: her children, Steve Giles (Karen) and Pam Knaack (Craig); her grandchildren, Amber Sommi (Peter), Tyler Knaack, Cody Giles (Michelle), Chelsea Vera (Juan) and Jessica Chavez (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Corbin, Lena, Adelynn Sommi and Desmond Vera; and her siblings, Jim Hackstock (Sheila), Gail Miller (Randy), Mike Hackstock (Katie), Ken Hackstock (Jane), Lynn Hackstock, Mark Hackstock and Jean Tesch (Rich). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
